Coach Stephan Knight

Coach Stephan Knight brings a proven track record of success and program transformation to the Omega Sports Academy baseball team. Prior to joining Omega, he served as the Head Baseball Coach at Spoto High School, where he revitalized a struggling program over three impactful years.

​

Under his leadership, Spoto High School achieved its first-ever playoff victory, earning Coach Knight the prestigious title of Coach of the Year. His efforts also led to an unprecedented five players advancing to collegiate baseball—the most in the school’s history—and the program’s first-ever All-Conference player. Demonstrating his ability to develop talent and instill a winning culture, Coach Knight transformed a 1-19 team into a competitive 10-win squad in just one season.

A proud native of Tampa, Florida, Coach Knight’s passion for mentorship and baseball excellence is matched by the unwavering support of his family. He is supported by his wife, Caren Knight, and their children: sons Mike, Stephan, and Terrell, and daughters Londynn and Lauryn.
