All foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a professional evaluation (foreign credential review). It is the student’s responsibility to procure this evaluation and to assume financial responsibility for it. The foreign credit evaluation should include an explanation that the institution is recognized by the ministry of education in the home country and is generally considered to offer at least the equivalent of U.S. higher education credit. In addition, it should include an explanation of the credits, the grading system, and course levels. A course-by-course evaluation for all post-secondary work is required. The report is not binding to Omega Sports Academy International and will be considered a recommendation for independent decision of the credit to be given. Please note: It may take 2-6 weeks to obtain a credit evaluation. Because of the importance of this information, Omega Sports Academy International accepts evaluations from (but does not limit to) the following institutions of proven reliability:

The Admission Committee evaluates applicants based on their official secondary school record, as well as their SAT/ACT and TOEFL scores. First-year applicants (those without prior college experience) should submit the following:

  • A completed Application for Admission.

  • Copy of ACT or SAT scores. A minimum ACT score of 18 or SAT score of 940 is required for admission.

  • Official secondary school transcript, including graduation notice and diploma, along with a foreign credential review if applicable (refer to International Transcripts section below).

  • For non-native English speakers, a minimum English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 69 (Internet-based), an IELTS score of 6.0, or a Duolingo English Proficiency score of 100.

  • All incoming freshmen are required to reside in Academy Housing. Please refer to the online housing application for further details.

It is highly recommended that all international students maintain health insurance coverage throughout their academic program. Obtaining and managing this coverage is the responsibility of the student, including financial obligations associated with it.

While the following providers offer insurance policies, students are not obligated to use their services:
